Interview/Observation Room
Documenting a child's history of abuse with a forensic interview is a critical component of protecting children from future abuse. Children tell their stories in a comfortable and age-appropriate room with experts who are there to listen and document each child's statements.
Gifts to the Children's Center campaign help fund:
- Expert staff with the training and skills to ask children about their history of abuse.
- Digital recording equipment and microphones to document children’s stories of abuse and reduce the likelihood that they will need to be re-interviewed.
- Play dough, bright crayons and fun color sheets that provide therapeutic support during children's interviews.
